House Bank for Gunger: (May Fund Drive)
The second (of three) annual House Bank collection, at FUMC Horseheads, helps us work toward alleviating food insecurity both locally and globally.
The poor economy continues to make the hunger situation even more serious all over the world.  As our congress debates what areas of the budget to keep, increase, decrease or delete, it is even more important to support charitiesthat will continue to address the hunger situation.
The donations from the House Bank collection will be divided between the Horseheads Food Pantry, UMCOR World Hunger & Poverty, and Bread for the World.  There will be a large House Bank in the Narthex during the month of Mayfor your donations, or you may mark your check with the amount you wish to go to House Bank for Hunger and place it in the offering anytime during May.
